Importance of leader and leadership in Network Marketing

Having the best timing, best system, best products or even the best compensation plan are not the main factors for your success. One of the most important ingredient you need for your success in network marketing is being a leader yourself and have a good leadership.

Why do we need leadership in network marketing? The reason is we need to lead a large group of people to do a few simple actions, over a consistent period of time. If a person do not have any leadership, it is almost impossible for one to lead such a big group.

Being a good leader, you must be a role model. You must not damage any reputation of the company you are representing. Never expect someone to do what you have not done. Here is an example, most network marketing companies require a certain amount of maintenance every single month to be an active distributor. If you are not paying the maintenance every month, don't expect your downlines to pay the maintenance every month.

Motivating and encouraging your team member is one of important factor of being a leader. Most team members need to be motivated consistently to keep on going building the business until a certain result is shown. Encouraging your team members will also maintain a strong bonding with your team.

Be loyal to your business and team members, I have seen many people switching companies and companies every now and then. Every time you switch a company, you lose your credibility as a leader.

Support and train your team members up to become a leader themselves! As we move on with our network marketing business a few months down the route, we will have hundreds if not thousands of people with us. Being a good leader and having a good leadership, we train people to be successful and therefore we can together lead thousands of people together.

Some people who never had any experience in business and network marketing may be having problem of being a leader themselves. There is another type of leader which I place them as leaders too, these are people who are willing to learn and train themselves up to be a leader with us. Being a leader we should support them and make them like us.
