Another is by entering the merchants website and registering, which gives the affiliate a predetermined amount.

To get started with affiliate marketing, the first thing you need is a website. The second, is to make sure your website has a decent amount of traffic flow coming into it, since the amount of money you can make is determined by the amount that flow into the merchants web page. Once those are done, proceed to search thoroughly for a merchant that has an affiliate program setup. Each merchants program is different from the next. Some will only use one of the three examples above, or quite possibly all three. In the end, it falls onto you to determine which method is best for you and your website.

ClickBank, Commission Junction, PayDotCom are great places to start, you can also just do a search on Google and I'm sure you will find plenty.
